About the project
Our work in the Middle East inspired us to focus even more on youth activism in our work in Denmark. With this project we worked with youth self-expressions as a strategy for achieving a political voice. Rap has since its origin been used as a political instrument, and RAPOLITICS is very much committed to promoting this agenda.
Tomorrow Today was a project with activities in Denmark. The young people who participated in the project's activities discussed youth activism and how young people can make themselves heard in a positive and creative way. The project consisted of a junior rap coach course, 35 workshops at schools and high schools, an intensive Playground-workshop for music students, visits from rappers from the Middle East, a project camp, a grant scheme with 10 grants, and a dialogue meeting with politicians in Copenhagen.
