Description of the blog:

RAPOLITICS’ new blog is a space for stories about the world of urban artistic expressions and raptivism (rap + activism). We will report on rap music as a powerful tool for change; on young people rapping from the top of their lungs; and on how we and others are working to expand the space youth has for creatively and constructively expressing themselves, questioning truisms and addressing injustices. RAPOLITICS has experience working with different kind of young people, including marginalized youth in Denmark, youth in conflict with the law in Bolivia and refugee youth in the Middle East. We meet many young people all over the world with different experiences, different voices. Common for all of them is that they found their voice in rap music and that they are curious about life and full of energy and dreams for the future. We would like to share both our and their experience with you. We want our blog to be roomy but focused, loud but thoughtful. We invite you to get involved. Challenge us! Inspire us! Contribute! Let’s fill our blog universe with cool stuff! However, we need a name for our blog first – and we hope you can help us.

Update May 2012:

A winner was found and he has been contacted directly. Thanks for all the participants. Keep an eye on our blog for more competitions soon!
